An important step in the process of using a laser marking machine is to adjust the focal length of the laser marking machine, and the focal length adjustment methods for the current laser marking machine include two methods, i.e. the resonant cavity lifting and lowering and the workbench lifting and lowering.
The current mainstream method is the workbench lifting and lowering, its mechanical principle is that the four corners of the workbench plane are supported by four light circles with a screw rod in the middle. There are four guide edges on the base of the workbench and a set of nut mechanism in the middle, the nut can be passed by rotating 90 degrees via a pair of bevel gears, there is a handle in the front of the workbench for rotation in order to adjust the height of the workbench. The mechanism is relatively complicated in principle, and there are many components, especially the smoothness may be easily caused in the lifting and lowering process because of the processing accuracy problem of the four light circles and between the guide edge and the screw rod, and the flat edge of the workbench will be swung during the lifting and lowering process. What is even more crucial is that such a mechanism is very poor in mechanical strength and is not suitable for heavy-duty work pieces, and the plane of the workbench of the laser marking machine may be twisted after a long-term use.
